We have decided to move our services of Club Model electronic Shop to tatsuyaoe.com and integrate two existing shops into one-stop service at this new URL.

We’re now re-building our system at www.tatsuyaoe.com and it will be available on December 21th (postponed).  That is to say, the URL “club.model-electronic.com” will be unavailable on that day.

We apologize for the delay in announcement and bothering you.

The main reason why we thought of moving Club Model Electronic is to bring our music to users in a more collective and intensive way, by closely combining Tatsuya’s updated information and our sound & releases which are produced by him.

Just making mutual links between model-electronic.com and tatsuyaoe.com physically enables visitors to enjoy / browse both in parallel , but there should be a little stress or sychological barrier.

Moreover, as we built another shop handling CDs and T-shirts at tatsuyaoe.com this summer, customers had to make an account separately if they want to purchase our physical goods. We were very sorry for such a troublesome task.
So we have decided some modificationsand improvements. We hope you to check and understand these points.

Following the release of “SUNSHINE”, Model Electronic continue to release 4 new edits specialized for DJ use.

These mixes are additionally made for DJs. All tracks are much longer than the original mixes and intros are added for DJ mixing.

The most striking mix is “Just Wanna Get You Tonight (Mashup House Mix for DJ)”. This version is totally different version which was mashed up with the phrases of “Girlfriend” from the same album “SUNSHINE”. We hope you’ll enjoy this more house-oriented arrangement with electric piano sounds. Also we uploaded the snippet video of this version at Captain Funk Official Youtube page. Hope you to drop by!

“Leaving (Full Digitalized Piano Funk Mix)” is literally massive mix including slap bass sound. Especially we hope to focus on the second half of this mix, which has a thrilling section with piano riffs.

And please note that “Full package” including 4 tracks is much cheaper than purchasing separately. Please consider it!

We Model Electronic will release CAPTAIN FUNK’s new album “SUNSHINE” on Aug 19th (XQCL-1003,1,890 yen (incl. tax).

This album will be out as CD in Japan and digitally distributed worldwide at major mp3 stores including iTunes, amazon etc ,in addition to Captain Funk Official Store.

Though it contains massive grooves as always, some tracks will be more catchy, house-oriented and full of summer feelings.

“Love at First Flight” is a lilting house track which has a touch of latin/brazilian music, consisting from 2 parts (like a suite). Brisk riffs & phrases of keyboards and bouncing beats will take you out to paradise islands.

Their 2nd track “Feel Me Now” has a deeper, dubby disco feeling with an atmospheric guitar solo by Abe. Some pepole might be reminded of ’70s NY latin/miami disco like Coke Escovedo or TK label sounds. We hope you to catch the heat of basement disco clubs to the groove.

Also please note that “2 Tracks Package” is 10 % cheaper than buying them seperately.
