Yesterday, I thoroughly revised \u201cAbout<\/a>\u201d and its related pages on Model Electronic Records’ website, which have not been updated since October 2010. The original version was a bit formal and stilted, as you often see on many corporate websites. So, I have always felt that it didn\u2019t sit right with me and didn\u2019t reflect enough of who we are now or what we have achieved so far.<\/p>\n

While terms like \u201cMusic Label\u201d or \u201cMusic Licensing\u201d are helpful in defining us as a music company, these words describe consequences or objective functions of What We Think and Do on a daily basis. I realized I should put such monotonous descriptions on the back burner and focus more on Why We Do. This is a \u201cversion 2013\u201d of our manifesto.<\/s> I hope this will help you to understand us.<\/p>\n

What is Model Electronic Records<\/h3>\n

Model Electronic Records, founded in 2006 by the award-winning music producer and recording artist, Tatsuya Oe (aka Captain Funk\/Dark Model), is an independent music label dedicated to producing original and enduring electronic music. Our unwavering focus on delivering high-quality soundscapes to music enthusiasts, while actively licensing tracks for various media industries, including advertising, film, TV, and video games, ensures that our standards are always met.<\/p>\n
