We proudly present our new project “Playmodel.” Playmodel is a project that focuses on music inspired by sophisticated Disco & Funk music in its heyday of the 70s & 80s. As a start of this project, we decided to release two remixes of Captain Funk “Hey Boy, Hey Girl” at the same time!

“Nighttime Remix” is a straight ahead & sexy dance track which has the feelings of late ’70s disco & jazz-funk. Please pay attention to a vibrant interplay of funky slap bass and piano riffs.

On the other hand, “Daytime Remix” has a joyful and elegant style. With totally different chord progression and harmony from the original, this version is featuring an ensemble consisting of strings, keyboard pads & slap bass in an upbeat mood. It might be called rather “re-composition” by Playmodel than just a remix.

Please try a special touch of Playmodel through these remixes first. This time we provide WAV & mp3 files like we did with the release of the Digikid84 remix.
