Written, produced, performed, mixed, and mastered entirely by Tatsuya Oe, Renaissance is his most uplifting and dancefloor-oriented work to date—a true embodiment of its title, signaling a creative rebirth and a new chapter for Captain Funk. Written, composed, arranged, performed, programmed, mixed, and mastered entirely by Tatsuya Oe, the album reflects a singular artistic vision and a remarkable level of craftsmanship throughout.

Unlike many contemporary electronic releases, Renaissance contains no downtempo moments. From beginning to end, the album maintains a consistently energetic and uplifting atmosphere, delivering a seamless listening experience driven by rhythm, melody, and positive momentum.
