[Updated: We updated our Mission Statement (Manifesto) in October 2024]

Yesterday, I thoroughly revised “About” and its related pages on Model Electronic Records’ website, which have not been updated since October 2010. The original version was a bit formal and stilted, as you often see on many corporate websites. So, I have always felt that it didn’t sit right with me and didn’t reflect enough of who we are now or what we have achieved so far.

While terms like “Music Label” or “Music Licensing” are helpful in defining us as a music company, these words describe consequences or objective functions of What We Think and Do on a daily basis. I realized I should put such monotonous descriptions on the back burner and focus more on Why We Do. This is a “version 2013” of our manifesto. I hope this will help you to understand us.

What is Model Electronic Records
